Trosolwg gyrfa
Dechreuais ddysgu Japaneg ym Mhrifysgol Queensland (UQ) yn 2007 wrth weithio ar fy ngradd doethuriaeth yno. Yn ystod fy nghyfnod yn UQ, datblygais ddiddordeb arbennig rhwng iaith a'r gymdeithas y mae'n cael ei defnyddio ynddi. Ers hynny mae fy mhrif ddiddordebau ymchwil ym maes Sosioieithyddiaeth, yn benodol, cyswllt iaith a newid, iaith yn y cyfryngau a Saesneg y Byd, gan gyfeirio'n arbennig at gyd-destunau Japaneaidd.
Cyn ymuno â Phrifysgol Caerdydd ym mis Ebrill 2015, cynhaliais ddarlithoedd ym Mhrifysgol Monash a Phrifysgol Arfordir yr Haul, lle'r oeddwn yn ymwneud ag addysgu dosbarthiadau Japaneaidd a chymdeithasol/ieithyddol.
