Immersive Media for Change: gydag Alison John, 2018 [gyda chefnogaeth grant ESRC]
Olion | Olion: Yn 2016 dechreuon ni weithio ar 'mob cynnil' ar gyfer Sain Ffagan Amgueddfa Werin Cymru, Cymru. Roedd y prosiect, a ariannwyd gan yr ESRC, yn bartneriaeth rhwng Prifysgol Caerdydd, Amgueddfa Cymru a yello brick, cwmni marchnata creadigol a gemau stryd sydd wedi'i leoli yng Nghaerdydd. Mae 'Traces' ('Olion' yn yr iaith Gymraeg) wedi'i saernïo i ymwelwyr brofi naill ai ar eu pennau eu hunain neu mewn parau. Nid yw Olion yn ganllaw sain. Nid yw'n ganllaw i dwristiaid ychwaith. Mae'n ap sain adrodd straeon penodol ar safle sy'n mynd â chyfranogwyr ar daith gorfforol o amgylch Sain Ffagan, gan ymdrochi rhwng ffaith a ffuglen, ddoe a heddiw. Mae'n ddehongliad naratif artistig neu 'gyfansoddiad' sy'n herio ymwelwyr i brofi Sain Ffagan mewn ffordd newydd. Mae'n chwareus ac yn feddylgar. Mae'r profiad partner yn mynd â defnyddwyr ar ddwy daith ar wahân sy'n plethu mewn ffyrdd sy'n benodol berfformiol, ond sy'n anweledig i ymwelwyr eraill y gallent ddod ar eu traws o fewn y tiroedd. Mwy ar Traces.
Voices of War and Peace: Cyd-Ymchwilydd ar brosiect Lleisiau Rhyfel a Heddwch Prifysgol Birmingham, Canolfan Ymgysylltu'r Rhyfel Byd Cyntaf a ariennir gan yr AHRC. Roedd hyn yn cynnwys cydweithio arloesol rhwng Prifysgol Caerdydd a nifer o sefydliadau partner yng Nghymru ar thema'r Rhyfel Byd Cyntaf rhwng 2014 a 2019. Fel arweinydd ar linyn coffau gwaith y Ganolfan, astudiodd Dr Joanne Sayner a minnau yn helaeth y gosodiad pabïau Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red. Roedd y gwaith hwn yn gydweithrediad â Thŵr Llundain, Palasau Brenhinol Hanesyddol ac Amgueddfeydd Rhyfel Ymerodrol.
Gyda llygaid newydd, gwelaf: Roedd With New Eyes I See yn brosiect ymchwil cydweithredol gyda yello brick wedi'i ariannu gan AHRC-REACT. Roedd y prosiect yn prototeip o raglen ddogfen hanes safle-benodol gan ddefnyddio tortsh, tafluniad a RFID i sbarduno cynnwys. Cyhoeddwyd trosolwg o'r prosiect hwn a'i ganfyddiadau fel erthygl mynediad agored yn International Journal of Heritage Studies.
Cynnwys a Gynhyrchir gan Ymwelwyr: 2012 – 2014 Cyd-Ymchwilydd ar rwydwaith AHRC 'Cynnwys a Gynhyrchir gan Ymwelwyr' gydag Adran Astudiaethau Amgueddfeydd Prifysgol Caerlŷr. Roedd partneriaid y prosiect yn cynnwys Oriel ac Amgueddfa Gelf Herbert, y Rhwydwaith Ymgysylltu Digidol a Art of Memory. Arweiniodd y prosiect at gydweithrediad ymchwil gyda Tate.
Rhwydwaith Hanes Heriol: Bu Challenging History yn ymchwilio i gynrychiolaeth materion pwnc anodd a sensitif o fewn cyd-destunau treftadaeth, gan arwain at nifer o adroddiadau, argymhellion mawr i'r sector diwylliannol. Mewn partneriaeth â Palasau Brenhinol Hanesyddol a Musuems Rhyfel Ymerodrol, cynhaliwyd nifer o ddigwyddiadau a seminarau sy'n wynebu'r sector, gan gynnwys Cynadleddau Rhyngwladol ym Mhrifysgol Dinas (2012), Prifysgol Caerdydd (2016), a Salon Athroniaeth yn yr Oriel Bortreadau Genedlaethol (2011).
2010-2012 Cyd-dderbynnydd Gwobr Grundtvig (gan y Comisiwn Ewropeaidd) i ymchwilio i Hanes Heriol gyda Chofeb Lidice, Lidice, y Weriniaeth Tsiec a Fforwm Hanes Cyfoes, Leipzig, yr Almaen.
Arwyddocâd y Canmlwyddiant 2013: Cyd-ymchwilydd ar Arwyddocâd y Canmlwyddiant (AHRC). Defnyddiodd y prosiect amrywiaeth o fethodolegau i archwilio sut mae Canmlwyddiant yn cael ei roi ystyr. Roedd y prosiect yn bartneriaeth gyda Phrifysgol Birmingham, Prifysgol Sheffield, Tŵr Llundain, Cultural Learning Alliance a Llyfrgell Genedlaethol Cymru.
Rhwydwaith Tawelwch, Cof ac Empathi, 2012-2014: Cyd-ymchwilydd ar y rhwydwaith a ariennir gan AHRC Silence, Memory and Empathy in Museums and in Historical Sites. Roedd partneriaid Prosiect y DU yn cynnwys: Abaty Buckfast, Palasau Brenhinol Hanesyddol, y Gynghrair Dysgu Diwylliannol, Amgueddfeydd Rhyfel Ymerodrol, Amgueddfa Forwrol Cymru, Ysgol Uwchradd Oriel, Amgueddfa Hitchin, Amgueddfeydd Cenedlaethol Gogledd Iwerddon, Leeds yr Armouries Brenhinol, Amgueddfa Highlanders, Prifysgol Birmingham a Phrifysgol Caerdydd.
Perfformio, Dysgu a Threftadaeth: Roedd y prosiect ymchwil Perfformio, Dysgu a Threftadaeth yn ymchwiliad i ddefnydd ac effaith perfformiad fel cyfrwng dysgu a dehongli mewn amgueddfeydd ac mewn safleoedd hanesyddol. Wedi'i ariannu gan grant ymchwil mawr gan yr AHRC, rhedodd y prosiect am dair blynedd a hanner rhwng 2005 a 2008. Fi oedd y Cydymaith Ymchwil ar y prosiect. Roedd PLH yn cynnwys pedair astudiaeth achos fawr yn gweithio gyda'r Amgueddfa Forwrol Genedlaethol, Llundain, Maenordy Llancaiach Fawr, Nelson, S.Wales, Triangle Theatre Company, Coventry ac Amgueddfa Manceinion.
Ymchwil cynulleidfa Gŵyl Dinas Llundain: Yn 2009 cefais fy nghomisiynu fel ymgynghorydd (a ariannwyd gan Knowledge Connect) i weithio gyda thîm Gŵyl Dinas Llundain ar astudiaeth cynulleidfa helaeth.

Ymgysylltu
Un o'r agweddau mwyaf egnïol ar fy rôl yw cyfrannu at ddealltwriaeth y cyhoedd o fy maes, ac at ddatblygu polisi ac ymarfer. Rwyf wedi bod yn rhan o lawer o fentrau ymgysylltu, yn enwedig fel rhan o'm gwaith ar Ganolfan Ymgysylltu â Lleisiau'r AHRC Rhyfel a Heddwch a gyda Chanolfan Polisi a Thystiolaeth AHRC (gweler Ymchwil). Rwy'n gweithio'n rheolaidd gyda phartneriaid yn yr economi greadigol, gan gynnwys yn ystod y blynyddoedd diwethaf ar nifer o brosiectau treftadaeth ddiwylliannol ddigidol proffil uchel.
Mae llawer o hyn wedi cynnwys cydweithio â chydweithwyr mewn mannau eraill ym Mhrifysgol Caerdydd, mewn sefydliadau eraill, gyda phartneriaid yn y sector creadigol a diwylliannol, a chydag aelodau'r cyhoedd. Mae'r prosiectau hyn yn helpu i gefnogi cenhadaeth ddinesig y Brifysgol, yn anad dim o ran hyrwyddo'r Gymraeg, cyfraniad at faterion diwylliannol a gweithio gydag ysgolion.
Rwyf ar Bwyllgor Llywio Cymuned Effaith prosiect Europeana yr UE, wedi arwain dosbarth meistr ar gyfer Gwasanaeth Digidol Llywodraeth y DU, ac wedi ymddangos yn y wasg cyfryngau a masnach, yn ogystal â phodlediadau, i siarad am fy ymchwil.
