Diddordebau Ymchwil Mawr:
Roedd sylfeini fy ymchwil wedi'u seilio ym maes bioleg celloedd cyhyrau llyfn endothelial a fasgwlaidd. Fy niddordeb arbennig oedd y mecanweithiau sy'n sail i gamweithrediad endothelial/fasgwlaidd mewn gwahanol gyflwr clefyd cardiofasgwlaidd. Wedi bod yn weithredol "ymarferol" ers blynyddoedd lawer, rydw i bellach yn dilyn llwybr Addysgu ac Ysgoloriaeth. Rwy'n falch iawn o gael fy dyrchafu'n Athro ar hyd y llwybr hwn yn 2020. Yn bwysig, mae fy ymchwil flaenorol a'm diddordeb parhaus yn y maes yn tanio fy addysgu dan arweiniad ymchwil.
Ar ôl dysgu ar y cwrs am fwy o flynyddoedd nag yr wyf yn gofalu amdano, rwyf wedi bod yn Gyfarwyddwr y cwrs BSc Ffarmacoleg Feddygol yn yr Ysgol Feddygaeth ers dros 10 mlynedd. Dros y cyfnod hwnnw mae'r rhaglen wedi mynd o nerth i nerth. Rydym yn helpu i ddatblygu graddedigion medrus iawn sy'n mynd ymlaen i rolau llwyddiannus mewn gwahanol sectorau o Feddygaeth Mynediad i Raddedigion a Deintyddiaeth i'r Diwydiant Fferyllol a thu hwnt.
Rwy'n arwain grŵp bach o addysgwyr proffesiynol ymroddedig iawn. Mae ein henillion uchel dro ar ôl tro yn y National Student Survery yn relfect eu hymdrechion enfawr i rymuso ein partneriaid dysgu i fod y graddedigion gorau y gallant fod.
