Timau a rolau for Catrin Lewis
Uwch Gymrawd Ymchwil, Is-adran Meddygaeth Seicolegol a Niwrowyddorau Clinigol
Trosolwyg
Mae fy ymchwil yn canolbwyntio ar ddatblygu, gwerthuso a gweithredu ymyriadau seicolegol ar gyfer anhwylderau sy'n gysylltiedig â thrawma. Gan weithio o fewn ffrwd waith Datblygu Ymyrraeth y Ganolfan Genedlaethol ar gyfer Iechyd Meddwl (NCMH), mae gennyf brofiad helaeth o weithio mewn partneriaeth ag arbenigwyr trwy brofiad byw i ddatblygu a gwerthuso ymyriadau seicolegol newydd, gydag arbenigedd arbennig mewn ymchwil ansoddol a dulliau cymysg.
Roedd fy PhD yn cynnwys datblygu a gwerthuso peilot Spring PTSD, ymyrraeth dan arweiniad ar y rhyngrwyd ar gyfer PTSD. Ers hynny mae PTSD y gwanwyn wedi cael ei werthuso mewn treialon clinigol ac mae bellach yn cael ei weithredu ledled GIG Cymru. Wedi hynny, rwyf wedi chwarae rhan allweddol yn y datblygiad a gwerthuso ymyriadau cysylltiedig ar gyfer Anhwylder Galar Hir (PGD) a PTSD Cymhleth (CPTSD), yn ogystal ag addasiadau o PTSD y Gwanwyn ar gyfer cyn-filwyr milwrol a phobl â nam ar y golwg.
Rwyf wedi cynnal sawl adolygiad Cochrane ac wedi cyfrannu at ddatblygu canllawiau ymarfer clinigol ar gyfer y Sefydliad Cenedlaethol dros Ragoriaeth Iechyd a Gofal (NICE). Roeddwn hefyd yn aelod o bwyllgor canllawiau triniaeth y Gymdeithas Ryngwladol ar gyfer Astudiaethau Straen Trawmatig (ISTSS), lle arweiniais y synthesis o dystiolaeth ar therapïau seicolegol ar gyfer PTSD. Rwy'n Olygydd Cyswllt ar gyfer yr European Journal of Psychotraumatology.
Mae fy niddordebau ymchwil ehangach yn cynnwys dulliau arloesol o wella triniaeth ar gyfer anhwylderau sy'n gysylltiedig â thrawma, gan gynnwys ymchwil ar brosesau cwsg a chof mewn PTSD, yn ogystal â PTSD sy'n digwydd ochr yn ochr â chyflyrau iechyd meddwl ac iechyd corfforol eraill.
