Rwy'n athro yn yr Ysgol Gwyddorau Cymdeithasol, ac yn ystadegydd ac epidemiolegydd trwy hyfforddiant. Mae fy ymchwil yn canolbwyntio ar ddeall heriau iechyd cyhoeddus yn well a dylunio a gwerthuso ymyriadau perthnasol.
Rhwng mis Mawrth 2018 a mis Medi 2023 fi oedd cyfarwyddwr Y Lab ym Mhrifysgol Caerdydd - Lab Arloesi Gwasanaethau Cyhoeddus Cymru. Yn Y Lab fe wnaethom gefnogi a hyrwyddo arbrofi ac arloesi mewn gwasanaethau cyhoeddus yng Nghymru, a chynnal ymchwil ar sut a pham arloesi gwasanaethau cyhoeddus. Gweler ein gwefan ylab.wales am fwy o fanylion.
Cyn hyn, gweithiais fel ystadegydd ac epidemiolegydd yn Ysgol Hylendid a Meddygaeth Drofannol Llundain am 12 mlynedd. Cynhaliais ymchwil ym maes iechyd byd-eang, gan ganolbwyntio ar werthusiadau pragmatig o arloesiadau system iechyd ar draws ystod o feysydd a daearyddiaethau clefydau. Roeddwn i'n byw yn Johannesburg am saith mlynedd.
