Mae Sehwa yn Ddarlithydd mewn Rheoli Logisteg a Gweithrediadau yn Ysgol Busnes Caerdydd, lle enillodd ei PhD ym maes rheoli gweithrediadau porthladdoedd. Mae ganddi hefyd MBA mewn Masnach Ryngwladol, MSc mewn Dulliau Ymchwil y Gwyddorau Cymdeithasol, a BSc mewn Masnach Ryngwladol. Mae hi'n Gymrawd Addysgu (FHEA) gydag Uwch AU ac wedi addysgu israddedigion ac ôl-raddedigion mewn amrywiol fodiwlau logisteg a thrafnidiaeth (Rheoli Gweithrediadau Logisteg, Logisteg Ryngwladol a Rheoli Cadwyn Gyflenwi, Cysylltiadau Masnachol, Rheoli Gweithrediadau).
Mae ei maes ymchwil yn canolbwyntio ar reoli trafnidiaeth forol, yn enwedig archwilio cyfeiriad strategol gweithrediadau a rheolaeth gynaliadwy. Trwy fynd i'r afael â dimensiynau economaidd a chymdeithasol, mae ei gwaith yn cyfrannu at hyrwyddo datblygiad cytûn trafnidiaeth forol. Mae ganddi ddiddordeb hefyd mewn integreiddio technegau mathemategol ac ystadegol uwch.
Mae hi wedi gweithio fel cynorthwy-ydd ymchwil yn y Gogledd-ddwyrain Asia a Distribution Institute (NALDI) yng Nghorea, ac mae hi wedi sefydlu rhwydweithiau ymchwil byd-eang yng Nghorea, Tsieina, Sweden, a Nigeria. Mae wedi ymrwymo i ysgolheictod cydweithredol sy'n gwella cyrhaeddiad a dylanwad byd-eang ei gwaith yn y diwydiant logisteg morwrol.
