Lecturer in Maritime Logistics and Transport
Overview
Sehwa is a Lecturer in Logistics and Operations Management at Cardiff Business School, where she earned her PhD in the field of port operations management. She also holds an MBA in International Commerce, an MSc in Social Science Research Methods, and a BSc in International Trade. She is a Teaching Fellow (FHEA) with Advanced HE and has taught undergraduates and postgraduates in various logistics and transport-related modules (Logistics Operations Management, International Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Commercial Relationships, Operations Management).
Her research area is centred on maritime transport management, particularly exploring the strategic direction of sustainable operations and management. By addressing both economic and societal dimensions, her work contributes to promoting the harmonious development of maritime transport. She is also interested in integrating advanced mathematical and statistical techniques.
She has previously worked as a research assistant at the Northeast Asia and Distribution Institute (NALDI) in Korea, and she has established global research networks in Korea, China, Sweden, and Nigeria. She is committed to collaborative scholarship that enhances the global reach and influence of her work in the maritime logistics industry.
