Mae gennyf ddiddordeb mawr mewn gweithredu arloesedd cymdeithasol-dechnegol ac offer ategol ar gyfer economi gylchol a chynaliadwyedd trwy ymchwil ryngddisgyblaethol a chyd-gynhyrchu. Rwy'n awyddus i ddatblygu arloesedd i alluogi newidiadau systemig tuag at gynaliadwyedd trwy economi gylchol, partneriaethau newydd rhwng dinasyddion, cwmnïau a llywodraethau, prosesau arloesol a chyfranogiad defnyddwyr.
Mae fy agwedd tuag at yr economi gylchol wedi ehangu'n raddol o gynhyrchion i systemau cymhleth ac o inswleiddio i arloesi systemig. Er fy mod yn ystyried agweddau technegol cylchedd a chynaliadwyedd, rwy'n cydnabod rôl hanfodol defnyddwyr, cymunedau, a mwy yn gyffredinol o randdeiliaid a dynameg mewn systemau cymdeithasol-dechnegol. Mae'r weledigaeth gyfannol hon yn gweld cylchedd fel trawsnewidiad cymdeithasol sy'n integreiddio ystyriaethau technolegol, cymdeithasol, sefydliadol a sefydliadol cylchrediad i fynd i'r afael â newidiadau systemig tuag at gynaliadwyedd.
Cefnogir fy niddordebau ymchwil gan gefndir rhyngddisgyblaethol perthnasol mewn dylunio ar gyfer cynaliadwyedd ac economi gylchol ynghyd ag arbenigedd ymchwil mewn ymchwil dylunio, cyd-ddylunio a gêm a phrofiad perthnasol yn y maes. Mae fy allbynnau ymchwil o ran ariannu grantiau, dyfeisiadau a chyhoeddiadau yn dangos fy mhotensial cryf, dyhead a phenderfyniad i gyfrannu at ymchwil yn y maes hwn.
Addysgu
Ers 2019 mae gen i swydd fel Darlithydd ym maes dylunio rhyngddisgyblaethol ar gyfer cynaliadwyedd a'r economi gylchol trwy weithgareddau addysgu a dysgu arloesol ar-lein, ar y campws a chyfunol. Rwy'n cyd-arwain modiwl Technoleg Bensaernïol ym Mlwyddyn 1 ac rwy'n arwain stiwdios Dylunio Pensaernïol Trefol ym Mlwyddyn 3 Baglor UGT mewn Astudiaethau Pensaernïol a'r Meistr Ôl-raddedig mewn Dylunio Pensaernïol . Rwy'n goruchwylio myfyrwyr ôl-raddedig a PhD wrth weithredu eu prosiectau ymchwil a'u traethodau hir ym meysydd cynaliadwyedd ac economi gylchol. Rwyf hefyd yn cyfrannu at ailgynllunio cwricwla Technoleg Bensaernïol yn UGT Baglor mewn Astudiaethau Pensaernïol i integreiddio tectoneg bensaernïol a hanfodion economi gylchol yn yr amgylchedd adeiledig.
Mae fy ymagwedd addysgu yn canolbwyntio ar ddysgu gweithredol a dysgu seiliedig ar ymchwiliad i ymgysylltu a chefnogi myfyrwyr i adeiladu sgiliau dadansoddol, dylunio a meddwl beirniadol, dysgu annibynnol a chydweithredol trwy broses o ymholi sy'n eiddo iddynt. Mae'r dull hwn yn cefnogi cadw gwybodaeth oherwydd bod myfyrwyr yn caffael gwybodaeth trwy brofi problem wirioneddol o'u diddordeb. Ar ben hynny, maent yn dysgu ymgymryd â rolau blaenllaw, newid uniongyrchol, gofyn cwestiynau, datrys problemau a datblygu gwybodaeth newydd. Mae fy addysgu yn cael ei lywio gan ac yn esblygu drwy ymchwil. Mae cysylltu ymchwil ac addysgu yn cyfrannu at alluogi myfyrwyr i brofi dysgu seiliedig ar ymchwiliad, gan ddarparu cynnwys arloesol ar gyfer dysgu manwl, a hyrwyddo dysgu gweithredol.
Ym mis Gorffennaf 2022, dyfarnwyd Cymrodoriaeth Addysg Uwch Advance i mi, sy'n cydnabod fy ymarfer, effaith ac arweinyddiaeth mewn addysgu a dysgu mewn cyd-destunau addysg uwch.
Bywgraffiad
Cynhaliais Radd Meistr Pensaernïaeth gyda'r anrhydedd uchaf ym Mhrifysgol Ferrara (yr Eidal), a Meistr Gwyddoniaeth mewn dylunio ar gyfer effeithlonrwydd ynni a chynaliadwyedd yr amgylchedd adeiledig ym Mhrifysgol Rydd Bozen-Bolzano (yr Eidal) gyda thraethawd ymchwil arobryn ar adnewyddu ynni blociau adeiladu preswyl. Cefais PhD mewn Ynni a Thechnolegau Cynaliadwy ym maes ymchwil dylunio ym Mhrifysgol Rydd Bozen-Bolzano (yr Eidal) mewn cydweithrediad ag MIT (UDA) lle treuliais flwyddyn o astudio ac ymchwil. Trosglwyddodd fy nhraethawd hir ddull dylunio peirianneg (Dylunio Axiomatig) i ddylunio systemau adeiladu modiwlaidd hyblyg ac addasadwy. Cyflawnodd yr astudiaeth ganlyniadau rhyfeddol a gyhoeddwyd mewn llyfr Springer a olygwyd gan greawdwr Axiomatic Design, yr Athro MIT Nam Pyo Suh.
Bûm yn gweithio am ddegawd fel Pensaer Cofrestredig yn ennill profiad ym meysydd dylunio, technoleg ac adeiladu pensaernïol trefol. Yna, bûm yn cydweithio â Phrifysgol Rydd Bozen-Bolzano (yr Eidal) rhwng 2010 a 2012 fel Cynorthwy-ydd Ymchwil a chyfrannodd at ddatblygu arloesiadau ar gyfer effeithlonrwydd ynni mewn cydweithrediad â'r diwydiant adeiladu. Yna, rhwng 2016 a 2018, dychwelais i weithio yn y diwydiant fel ymarferydd a datblygais gynnig llwyddiannus ar gyfer Cymrodoriaeth Unigol H2020 H2020 cystadleuol iawn Marie Skłodowska-Curie sy'n cynnwys Prifysgol Caerdydd (DU) fel Sefydliad Lletya ac Arup Foresight London (DU) fel Partner Ymchwil.
Yn 2018, ymunais ag Ysgol Pensaernïaeth Cymru i weithredu CircuBED Cymrodoriaeth Marie Sklodowska-Curie ar gyfraniad dinasyddion a chymunedau trefol yn yr economi gylchol trwy newidiadau mewn arferion cynhyrchu a defnyddio. Datblygodd y prosiect ddau ganlyniad allweddol y gellir eu hecsbloetio, tacsonomeg o 7 dinesydd cylchol a gêm gardiau o'r enw "Teuluoedd Cylchol" ar gyfer trosglwyddo gwybodaeth. Yn ddiweddar, gweithredais y prosiect CircuPLAY a ariannwyd gan Gronfa Arloesi Ymchwil Cymru ar ymgysylltu cymunedau trefol yn yr economi gylchol trwy gameiddio a chyd-greu. Datblygodd y prosiect set o 4 gweithdy chwareus ynghyd ag offer digidol ac analogig. Ar hyn o bryd rwy'n cyfrannu at y COST Action CA21103 CircularB (Gweithredu Economi Gylchol yn yr Amgylchedd Adeiledig) tra'n hybu effaith ymchwil trwy Atgyfnerthu Canlyniadau Horizon.
Ers 2019 mae gen i swydd fel Darlithydd ar gynaliadwyedd a'r economi gylchol yn Ysgol Pensaernïaeth Cymru lle rwyf wedi dylunio a chyflwyno modiwlau israddedig ac ôl-raddedig mewn dylunio pensaernïol trefol a thechnoleg bensaernïol a myfyrwyr ôl-raddedig a PhD dan oruchwyliaeth trwy ddysgu seiliedig ar ymchwiliad a dysgu gweithredol. Cyn fy swydd darlithyddiaeth, cyfrannais fel Arweinydd Modiwl at ddatblygiad proffesiynol parhaus penseiri a pheirianwyr a chydais fel Cynorthwyydd Addysgu mewn cynllunio gwledig a dylunio trefol ym Mhrifysgol Rydd Bozen-Bolzano (yr Eidal) ac mewn dylunio trefol-bensaernïol ym Mhrifysgol IUAV (yr Eidal).
