Rwy'n feddyg teulu a Darlithydd Clinigol Diogelwch Cleifion, gyda diddordeb mewn addysg feddygol, diogelwch cleifion a gwella ansawdd. Rwy'n gweithio gyda'r PISA (Grŵp ymchwil PatIent SAfety) ym Mhrifysgol Caerdydd.
Ers 2025 rwyf wedi cael fy mhenodi'n Gyfarwyddwr Cyswllt Dysgu yng Nghanolfan Gydweithredol Sefydliad Iechyd y Byd ar gyfer Diogelwch Cleifion, Dysgu a Gwella Cleifion, dan arweiniad yr Athro Andrew Carson-Stevens yn yr Is-adran Meddygaeth Poblogaeth, Prifysgol Caerdydd.
Rwy'n ymwneud â hwyluso'r Modiwl Newid Ymarfer ar gyfer myfyrwyr meddygol blwyddyn olaf, dysgu seiliedig ar achosion a diogelwch cleifion modiwlau SSC ar gyfer myfyrwyr meddygol eraill.
Deuthum yn Gymrawd yr Academi Addysg Uwch (FHEA) yn 2023, a chwblheais MSc. (Addysg Feddygol) ym Mhrifysgol Caerdydd ym mis Gorffennaf 2024. Fe wnes i hefyd ddod yn rhan o gwrs Improvement Advisor Cymru (SciL) ym mis Mai 2024.
Mae fy ymchwil ddiweddar wedi canolbwyntio ar niwed sy'n gysylltiedig â gofal iechyd mewn carchardai a rôl teuluoedd mewn digwyddiadau diogelwch cleifion. Rwy'n cwblhau PhD trwy gyhoeddiad, gyda ffocws ar niwed sy'n gysylltiedig â gofal iechyd mewn ystod o leoliadau, gan gynnwys poblogaethau sydd heb eu gwasanaethu (dan oruchwyliaeth yr Athro Andrew Carson-Stevens ac Adrian Edwards).
