Overview
I am a GP and Clinical Lecturer of Patient Safety, with an interest in medical education, patient safety and quality improvement. I work with the PISA (primary care PatIent SAfety research Group) at Cardiff University.
I am involved with facilitating the Changing Practice Module for final year medical students, case-based learning and patient safety SSC modules for other medical students.
I became a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) in 2023, and completed a MSc. (Medical Education) at Cardiff University in July 2024. I also became part of Improvement Advisor Cymru (SciL) course in May 2024.
My recent research has focused on healthcare-associated harm in prisons and the role of families in patient safety incidents.
