Mae Dr Wenlong Ming (WM) wedi bod yn Ddarllenydd Electroneg Pŵer Lled-ddargludyddion ym Mhrifysgol Caerdydd ers mis Awst 2023. Dyfarnwyd gradd PhD iddo o Brifysgol Sheffield ym mis Mawrth 2016 ac fe'i hariannwyd gan EPSRC fel ysgolhaig cyfnewid i ymweld â'r Ganolfan Systemau Electroneg Pŵer (CPES) yn Virginia Tech UDA, am bedwar mis yn 2012. Ef yw'r Arweinydd Thema ar electroneg pŵer lled-ddargludyddion ar gyfer Sefydliad Arloesi Sero Net Prifysgol Caerdydd.
Mae'n cynnal ymchwil sylfaenol a chymhwysol i gylchedau a systemau electronig yn y dyfodol. Mae newid paradeim o dechnoleg lled-ddargludyddion o silicon i lled-ddargludyddion cyfansawdd (CS) yn dod â chyfle cyffrous i wella effeithlonrwydd, dibynadwyedd a dwysedd pŵer cylchedau a systemau electronig o'r fath yn sylweddol ac i alluogi cymwysiadau newydd na all silicon eu cefnogi. Amcan lefel uchel ei ymchwil yw ymchwilio i sut i ddatrys heriau ymchwil ac arloesi y tu ôl i'r newid paradeim hwn trwy integreiddio rheolaeth yn ddi-dor ac yn gyfannol, electroneg pŵer, electroneg radio-amledd, ffiseg lled-ddargludyddion a deunyddiau.
