Mae Dr Dnyaneshwar (Danny) Mogale yn Uwch Ddarlithydd Modelu Cadwyn Gyflenwi a Logisteg yn Ysgol Busnes Caerdydd. Mae'n Gymrawd yr Academi Addysg Uwch (FHEA). Cyn hynny, roedd yn gysylltiedig ag Ysgol Reoli Cranfield, fel Ymchwilydd Ymweld yn y Ganolfan Logisteg a Rheoli Cadwyn Gyflenwi. Mae gan Dr Mogale PhD mewn Peirianneg Ddiwydiannol a Systemau o Sefydliad Technoleg India (IIT), Kharagpur, India. Mae Danny hefyd yn meddu ar MTech mewn Peirianneg Ddiwydiannol a Rheolaeth a BTech mewn Peirianneg Gynhyrchu. Roedd yn gysylltiedig fel Cynorthwy-ydd Ymchwil gydag Ysgol Gweinyddiaeth Busnes Genefa, Prifysgol Gwyddorau Cymhwysol a Gorllewin y Swistir.
Mae diddordebau ymchwil Danny yn cynnwys modelu cadwyn gyflenwi a logisteg, risg a gwytnwch a chynaliadwyedd. Mae'n datblygu modelau mathemategol amrywiol wedi'u hysbrydoli gan broblemau cadwyn gyflenwi cymhleth a logisteg go iawn i wella perfformiad economaidd, amgylcheddol a chymdeithasol y diwydiannau. Mae hyn yn cyd-fynd yn agos â strategaeth Gwerth Cyhoeddus Ysgol Busnes Caerdydd. Mae gan Danny hanes llwyddiannus o wneud cais am grantiau a chael grantiau gan wahanol gyrff cyllido fel Cymru Fyd-eang ac IAA ESRC. Mae ffocws y prosiectau'n cynnwys modelu effaith COVID-19 ar gadwyni cyflenwi bwyd cynaliadwy a datblygu fframwaith cefnogi penderfyniadau newydd i leihau costau logisteg, lleihau allyriadau CO2 ac anfon cynhyrchion sy'n sensitif i dymheredd yn gyson i ysbytai a fferyllfeydd.
Mae wedi ysgrifennu nifer o erthyglau ymchwil mewn cyfnodolion rhyngwladol fel Transportation Research Part E, International Journal of Production Economics, International Journal of Production Research, Production Planning and Control, Annals of Operations Research and Computers and Industrial Engineering. Mae hefyd yn adolygydd ar gyfer nifer o gyfnodolion rhyngwladol yn Gweithrediadau, Logisteg a Rheoli Cadwyn Gyflenwi.
