Darllenydd mewn Cymdeithaseg
Trosolwyg
Cefais fy mhenodi'n ddarlithydd cymdeithaseg yn Ysgol y Gwyddorau Cymdeithasol yn 2013, ar ôl cael swyddi ymchwil yn Sefydliad Ymchwil a Data Cymdeithasol ac Economaidd Cymru (WISERD) ac Arsyllfa Wledig Cymru.
Mae fy ymchwil ac ysgrifennu yn archwilio'r berthynas rhwng arferion bob dydd o gof a threftadaeth, symudedd a lle, a dychmygon y dyfodol a chymynroddion gwladychiaeth, yr wyf wedi ymgysylltu â nhw trwy ymchwil ethnograffig.
Mae gennyf ddiddordeb parhaus mewn syniadau o ymgysylltu â'r cyhoedd a'r gymuned mewn ymchwil ac yn fy ngwaith ac rwyf wedi ymrwymo i gyfiawnder cymdeithasol, arfer cynhwysol a phrosesau adferol. Mae prosiectau blaenorol yr wyf wedi'u cynnal wedi cynnwys ymchwil ar ôl-wladychiaeth, treftadaeth, cymunedau ôl-ddiwydiannol ac ymdeimlad pobl ifanc o'u lleoedd hanesyddol a chyfoes a'u dyfodol dychmygol. Yn sail i'r holl waith hwn, ac a ddatblygwyd trwy fy ysgrifennu, mae diddordeb mewn dulliau ansoddol, yn enwedig dulliau ethnograffig, symudol ac amlfoddol (llwybrau sain, dulliau gweledol).
Rwy'n gyd-PI o'r rhwydwaith Addysg, Cyfiawnder a Chof (EdJAM), sy'n rhwydwaith o ymchwilwyr, addysgwyr a sefydliadau cymdeithas sifil sy'n gweithio yn y celfyddydau, addysg a threftadaeth. Rydym wedi ymrwymo i ffyrdd creadigol o addysgu a dysgu am y gorffennol treisgar er mwyn adeiladu mwy o ddyfodol cyfiawn. https://edjam.network/
Mae EdJAM yn cael ei ariannu gan Raglen Collective UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) Global Challenges Research Funding (GCRF).
