Mae fy ymchwil a'm hysgrifennu yn archwilio'r berthynas rhwng arferion cof a threftadaeth, symudedd a lle, a dychmygolion y dyfodol ac etifeddiaeth barhaol gwladychiaeth, yr wyf wedi ymgysylltu â nhw trwy ymchwil ethnograffig.
Mae gen i ddiddordeb parhaus mewn syniadau o ymgysylltu â'r cyhoedd a'r gymuned mewn ymchwil ac yn fy ngwaith ac rwy'n ymrwymedig i gyfiawnder cymdeithasol, ymarfer cynhwysol a phrosesau adferol. Mae prosiectau blaenorol yr wyf wedi ymgymryd â nhw wedi cynnwys ymchwil ar ôl-drefedigaeth, treftadaeth, cymunedau ôl-ddiwydiannol ac ymdeimlad pobl ifanc o'u lleoedd hanesyddol a chyfoes a'u dyfodol dychmygol. Yn sail i'r holl waith hwn, ac a ddatblygwyd trwy fy ysgrifennu, mae diddordeb mewn dulliau ansoddol, yn enwedig dulliau ethnograffig, symudol ac amlfoddol (soundwalks, dulliau gweledol).
Rwy'n gyd-PI o'r rhwydwaith Addysg, Cyfiawnder a Chof (EdJAM), sy'n rhwydwaith o ymchwilwyr, addysgwyr a sefydliadau cymdeithas sifil sy'n gweithio ym maes y celfyddydau, addysg a threftadaeth. Rydym wedi ymrwymo i ffyrdd creadigol o addysgu a dysgu am y gorffennol treisgar er mwyn adeiladu dyfodol mwy cyfiawn. https://edjam.network/

Ymchwil
Mae fy ymchwil ar hyn o bryd wedi'i drefnu o amgylch dau brif bwnc. Mae'r cyntaf yn canolbwyntio ar dreftadaeth, cof, cyfiawnder a gwrthdaro, yn enwedig edrych ar sut mae gwledydd ar ôl gwrthdaro yn gweithio'n greadigol ac yn adeiladol tuag at gyfiawnder, atgyweirio a heddwch parhaus. Rwy'n Gyd-PI ar brosiect Rhwydwaith GCRF + AHRC Education Justice and Memory (EdJAM) sy'n rhwydwaith o ymchwilwyr, addysgwyr a sefydliadau cymdeithas sifil sy'n gweithio ym maes y celfyddydau, addysg a threftadaeth. Rydym wedi ymrwymo i ffyrdd creadigol o addysgu a dysgu am y gorffennol treisgar er mwyn adeiladu dyfodol mwy cyfiawn. Rwy'n parhau â'r gwaith hwn fel PI, ar brosiect a ariennir gan y BA-GCRF yn Uganda sy'n ystyried Dyfodol Ieuenctid a sut mae arferion treftadaeth greadigol, gwaith niwmonig a dychmygiadau y dyfodol wedi'u hymgorffori mewn bywydau bob dydd, yn achosi tarfu amserol ac yn 'faich' i'r rhai sy'n ymgymryd â nhw. Mae'r gwaith hwn gyda'r Uganda Museum and Refugee Law Project, ac mae wedi cynhyrchu arddangosfa symudol sydd wedi teithio o amgylch Gogledd Uganda, gan newid naratif a chynnwys yr arddangosfa wrth iddi fynd. Rwyf hefyd wedi gweithio ar brosiect a ariennir gan yr AHRC yn Uganda sy'n defnyddio naratifau treftadaeth cyd-gynhyrchu i lywio datblygiad adnodd digidol a fydd yn caniatáu i waith treftadaeth a chof gael ei ddeall y tu allan i'r amgueddfa, ac yn hytrach fel rhan o fywydau ac arferion bob dydd pobl. Mae'r llinyn hwn o fy ngwaith hefyd yn rhan o bartneriaeth barhaus yr wyf yn ymwneud â hi gyda'r Ymddiriedolaeth Genedlaethol, gan ddatblygu o Gymuned Cysylltiadau Trefedigaethol GW4 ac i brosiect a ariennir o'r enw Making Labour Visible yng Nghastell Penrhyn, Gogledd Cymru.
Mae rhedeg trwy'r llinyn hon yn bryder cryf gyda chwestiynau ynghylch etifeddiaeth barhaol gwladychiaeth, a sut mae pobl yn trafod ac yn llywio'r etifeddiaeth hyn yn eu bywydau a'u harferion bob dydd.
Mae ail edefyn fy ngwaith ar ddŵr, arferion nofio gwyllt a'r berthynas rhwng pobl a lle. Mae'r gwaith hwn yn archwilio gwleidyddiaeth mynediad, llygredd, syniadau parhaol o wyllt neu anialwch, a'r ffyrdd y mae arferion nofio pobl yn gymhleth ac yn feirniadol o ffyrdd sefydledig o ddeall ymgysylltiadau cyrff, dyfroedd, actorion dynol ac anddynol.
Addysgu
Rwy'n addysgu'n helaeth ar draws yr Ysgol Gwyddorau Cymdeithasol, ac yn enwedig o fewn y rhaglen gymdeithaseg.
Ar hyn o bryd rwy'n ymgynnull neu'n cyd-ymgynnull: Ymchwiliadau Cymdeithasegol (Blwyddyn 1); Dulliau Ymchwil Cymdeithasol (Blwyddyn 2); Theori Fyw (Blwyddyn 3), Dad-drefedigaethu'r Gwyddorau Cymdeithasol (Blwyddyn 3); Yr Amgueddfa (MA Treftadaeth Fyd-eang)
Bywgraffiad
Fe wnes i fy ngradd israddedig mewn cymdeithaseg yng Ngholeg y Drindod Dulyn, cyn dod i Gaerdydd ar gyfer fy ngraddau ôl-raddedig.
