Mae'r Ganolfan yn parhau i roi heriau ysgogol i mi ac rwyf wedi bod yn ffodus i weithio gydag academyddion ac ymchwilwyr eithriadol ym maes gwres a phŵer carbon isel. Mae'r gwaith cyffrous hwn yn cyrraedd cynulleidfa genedlaethol a byd-eang ac yn mynd i'r afael yn uniongyrchol â'r angen i leihau ein dibyniaeth ar danwydd ffosil i sicrhau dyfodol cynaliadwy i ni a chenedlaethau'r dyfodol.

Mae gen i radd anrhydedd dosbarth cyntaf mewn Peirianneg Fecanyddol o Brifysgol Caerfaddon gyda 7 mlynedd o brofiad diwydiannol cyn dechrau gweithio gyda Phrifysgol Caerdydd yn 2001 pan gefais fy mhenodi'n Uwch Beiriannydd Prosiect yn y Ganolfan Ynni, Gwastraff a'r Amgylchedd (CREWE) yn yr Ysgol Peirianneg gyda'r cyfrifoldeb am sefydlu a rheoli cydweithredu diwydiannol.

Ac yn 2005 cynorthwyais i ddatblygu cais llwyddiannus o £7.9M gan ERDF i sefydlu Canolfan Ymchwil Tyrbinau Nwy Prifysgol Caerdydd (GTRC) a chefais fy mhenodi'n rheolwr arni yn 2006.
Roeddwn i'n rheoli gosod a chomisiynu cyfleuster GTRC, prosiect gwerth £7.9M ac unwaith i fyny a rhedeg roeddwn yn rheoli cyllid GTRC (Trosiant tua £1M) a chyfrifoldeb am reoli personél GTRC a rhaglenni prawf.
Dros yr 17 mlynedd diwethaf rwyf wedi cael y fraint o reoli'r GTRC, un o labordai oddi ar y safle ar raddfa fawr Prifysgol Caerdydd (https://cu-gtrc.co.uk).
Mae'r Ganolfan yn parhau i roi heriau ysgogol i mi ac rwyf wedi bod yn ffodus i weithio gydag academyddion ac ymchwilwyr eithriadol ym maes gwres a phŵer carbon isel. Mae'r gwaith cyffrous hwn yn cyrraedd cynulleidfa genedlaethol a byd-eang ac yn mynd i'r afael yn uniongyrchol â'r angen i leihau ein dibyniaeth ar danwydd ffosil i sicrhau dyfodol cynaliadwy i ni a chenedlaethau'r dyfodol.
Ar hyn o bryd rwy'n cymryd rhan mewn sawl prosiect ymchwil i ddatblygu ymhellach ein dealltwriaeth o hydrogen ac amonia ar gyfer cymwysiadau gwres a phŵer.
