O fewn Designing Dying-in-Place, mae Marion yn gweithio gyda rhanddeiliaid sy'n ymwneud â gofal diwedd oes yn y cartref, gan gynnwys sefydliadau cymunedol ac elusennau. Mae ei hymchwil yn archwilio'r amodau cymdeithasol, diwylliannol ac amgylcheddol sy'n cefnogi neu'n rhwystro marw gartref, gan helpu i drosi profiad byw yn dystiolaeth a all lywio dyluniad tai, darpariaeth gofal a pholisi.
Mae gan Marion PhD mewn Ymchwil Iaith a Chyfathrebu o Brifysgol Caerdydd. Mae hi wedi dal rolau ymchwil neu addysgu yng Ngholeg y Brenin Llundain, Prifysgol Caeredin, y Brifysgol Agored, Universitat Oberta de Catalunya, a Phrifysgol Astudiaethau Rhyngwladol Kanda, Japan. Mae ei diddordebau ymchwil ehangach yn cynnwys cyfathrebu iechyd, profiadau salwch, ansicrwydd a risg, polisi iaith a chyfathrebu, a gwneud penderfyniadau sefydliadol.
