I am a lecturer at the National Software Academy in the School of Computer Science and Informatics. I have most recently been working on an exciting big data analytics platform hosted in the Amazon cloud. We used agile development methodologies including Scrum and Kanban, and practised a DevOps culture using CI and CD tools. Before that I was part of the HPC Wales project responsible for developing and delivering training courses across Wales; and before that I was part of the Advanced Research Computing division supporting users on a range of HPC and HTC systems.

I am Module Leader for DevOps, and Agile Project Management on our BSc Applied Software Engineering Programme. I Moderate modules on Software Development Skills, Developing Quality Software, Secure Software Engineering, and Agile Software Development on our BSc and MSc Programmes. I Supervise and Moderate students working on their Final Year Projects on our BSc Programmes. I Supervise and Moderate students working on their Dissertation Projects on our MSc Programmes. I Supervise students on Work Placement on our BSc and MSc Programmes.
