Crynodeb ymchwil
Fy maes ymchwil craidd yw datblygiad cymdeithasol, gyda ffocws ar ffactorau amddiffynnol mewn perthnasoedd agos plant fel aelodau o'r teulu a ffrindiau. Yn fy ngwaith rwy'n defnyddio dulliau arsylwi a hydredol i ymchwilio i sut mae plant yn datblygu dealltwriaeth o'r byd cymdeithasol trwy chwarae. Mae gen i ddiddordeb hefyd mewn deall y mecanweithiau cymdeithasol, emosiynol a gwybyddol sy'n sail i broblemau emosiynol ac ymddygiadol yn ystod plentyndod. Rwy'n Gyd-Gyfarwyddwr yr Uned Asesu Niwroddatblygiad yng Nghanolfan Gwyddoniaeth Datblygiadol Dynol Prifysgol Caerdydd ac rwy'n gweithio ar brosiectau sy'n ceisio datblygu dealltwriaeth o brofiadau ac anghenion cymorth teuluoedd mabwysiadol a gwarcheidiaeth arbennig.
