Ar hyn o bryd rwy'n uwch ymchwilydd ôl-ddoethurol yn labordy yr Athro Paul Morgan a Dr Wioleta Zelek, llwybrau therapiwtig newydd ymchwil ar gyfer trin Clefyd Alzheimer.
Mae gen i arbenigedd mewn delweddu cellog trwybwn uchel, ailadeiladu cellog ac asesiad gwybyddol cnofilod yr wyf wedi'i ddefnyddio'n dda trwy gydol fy PhD ac ymchwil ôl-ddoethurol dilynol.
Mae fy niddordebau ymchwil yn canolbwyntio ar y rôl y mae microglia yn ei chwarae wrth addasu swyddogaeth niwronau a gwybyddiaeth. Mae deall y berthynas gymhleth rhwng microglia a niwronau o bwysigrwydd arbennig o ystyried bod rhyngweithiadau camweithredol rhwng microglia-niwronau yn gysylltiedig ag aetioleg llawer o anhwylderau niwroddatblygiadol a niwroddirywiol.
