Cymrawd Ymchwil, DECIPHer
Trosolwyg
Rwy'n Gymrawd Ymchwil ac yn Arweinydd ar gyfer Integreiddio Gwyddoniaeth a Gweithgarwch Cyfranogiad y Cyhoedd yn DECIPHer (y Ganolfan Datblygu, Gwerthuso, Cymhlethdod a Gweithredu mewn Gwella Iechyd y Cyhoedd) yn yr Ysgol Gwyddorau Cymdeithasol. Rwy'n ymgymryd â Chymrodoriaeth Iechyd Ymchwil Iechyd Cymru sy'n ymchwilio i'r angen i nodi ac addasu rhaglenni iechyd meddwl byd-eang i Gymru i fynd i'r afael â materion iechyd meddwl y glasoed.
Mae fy ymchwil yn canolbwyntio'n sylweddol ar iechyd meddwl a lles, yn enwedig i blant a phobl ifanc. Mae fy ffocws methodolegol ar gyd-gynhyrchu, addasu a gweithredu ymyriadau iechyd mewn ysgolion a theuluoedd, gyda ffocws penodol ar ddulliau cyfranogol ac ansoddol. Mae fy PhD wedi optimeiddio a phrofi theori ar gyfer cyd-gynhyrchu ymyriadau iechyd mewn ysgolion i gefnogi ymchwilwyr eraill a rhanddeiliaid ysgol i allu datblygu ymyriadau iechyd a lles. Mae gen i hefyd hanes o ran dylunio, cynnal ac adrodd adolygiadau systematig.
Rwyf wedi arwain / cyd-arwain ar brosiectau ymchwil yn gwerthuso ymyrraeth teuluol Veteran a phrosiect Gwobr Data Iechyd Meddwl Wellcome Trust sy'n archwilio'r dylanwadau ar gysylltiad ysgolion. Yn ddiweddar, rwyf wedi gweithio ar brosiect y Sefydliad Cenedlaethol Ymchwil Iechyd, drwy drwy'r Tîm Astudiaethau Ymatebol Iechyd y Cyhoedd rhwng Bryste a Phrifysgol Caerdydd. Mae'r prosiect hwn yn gwerthuso effaith a gweithredu ymyrraeth yn yr ysgol am 'Dimau Meddylfryd' yn yr Alban.
