Mae fy niddordebau ymchwil cyfredol yn canolbwyntio ar 1) Cymhwyso dysgu peirianyddol a thechnegau uwch ar gyfer lleoli a chanfod nam ar rwydweithiau pŵer, 2) Datblygu Cyfathrebu Power Line, 3) Monitro Cyflwr asedau foltedd uchel, 4) Earthing a diogelu mellt, 5) technegau optimeiddio (optimeiddio haid gronynnau arwahanol) ar gyfer rheoli asedau smart), 6 ) Efelychu a modelu tonnau teithio Ffenomena gan ddefnyddio EMTP, 7) Defnyddio technoleg Arraye Gate Rhaglenadwy Maes (FPGA) ar gyfer monitro cyflwr neu gyfrifiadura ymyl.
Fy ngweithgareddau ymchwil yn y gorffennol a'r dyfodol:
- Ymchwil sylfaenol i ddewisiadau amgen gwydn ar gyfer GNSS / GPS / Galileo Lleoliad, Amseru a Llywio gan ddefnyddio eLoran a dull newydd sy'n seiliedig ar gyfathrebu llinell pŵer.
- Datblygu algorithmau dysgu peiriant ar gyfer canfod nam mewn rhwydweithiau pŵer yn y dyfodol sy'n cael eu dominyddu gan electroneg pŵer. Mae'r prosiect parhaus hwn yn brosiect cydweithredol a ariennir gan EPSRC (gyda Choleg Imperial Llundain, Prifysgol Tsinghua a Phrifysgol Hefei).
- Partneriaeth Trosglwyddo Gwybodaeth (goruchwyliwr academaidd) gydag Eriez, i ddigideiddio synhwyrydd metel diwydiannol.
- Partneriaeth Trosglwyddo Gwybodaeth (goruchwyliwr academaidd) gyda Kingsmill Industries, i wreiddio arbenigedd amddiffyn daearu a mellt
- Datblygu cynllun modiwleiddio newydd Power Line yn seiliedig ar haen gorfforol LoRa, sy'n ddull mwy cadarn o ymdrin â PLC na dulliau confensiynol. Rwyf wedi datblygu methodolegau efelychu uwch ar gyfer modelu PLC, ee Modelu a dadansoddi cynlluniau modiwleiddio Prime a G3-PLC.
- Datblygu system monitro cyflwr newydd ar gyfer mesur tâl wedi'i ddal yn ddigyffwrdd ar fysiau 275kV.
- Datblygu system monitro llinell uwchben (OHMS Ω), mewn cydweithrediad â'r Academi Ymchwil Rhwydweithiau Pŵer (PNRA).
- Ymchwilio i berfformiad amledd uchel rhodenni daearu ac arweinwyr wedi'u hinswleiddio, mewn cydweithrediad â'r Grid Cenedlaethol.
