Trosolwyg
Rwy'n ddarlithydd prifysgol ac astroffisegydd sy'n gweithio ym maes planedau all-solar. Rwy'n ymwneud â datblygu cenadaethau ac arsyllfeydd newydd i nodweddu atmosfferau ecsoblanedau, yn enwedig cenhadaeth ESA Ariel, yn ogystal â Twinkle a chenhadaeth EXCITE NASA. Rwyf hefyd yn cymryd rhan mewn arsylwadau ecsoblanedol cylch 1 a chylch 2 JWST mewn cydweithrediad ag IoA Caergrawnt. Mae gen i ddiddordeb mewn deall prosesau atmosfferig a planedol mewn is-Neptunes cyfundrefn dymherus a chewri nwy, a sut mae'r rhain yn ymwneud â chwestiynau sylfaenol ffurfio planed ac amrywiaeth y boblogaeth allblanedol. Mae gen i ddiddordeb hefyd mewn astrobioleg, yn enwedig y potensial ar gyfer biosfferau mewn is-Neptunes tymherus a chewri nwy, sut y gallwn bennu amlder bydoedd sy'n dwyn bywyd (y fL ffactor yn yr hafaliad Drake) a sut y gallai arsylwadau ecsoblanedol allu cyfyngu damcaniaethau o darddiad bywyd.
