Ymchwil
I am a Registrar in General Surgery and have taken time out of my clinical training to undertake a PhD investigating the role of Dok proteins in colorectal cancer. I graduated from UWCM in 2005 with MBBCh and an intercalated BSc in Exercise Sciences. Since joining CCMRC in 2013, I have gained experience in a wide range of laboratory techniques, completed a PGCert in Biomedical Research, presented my research at national and international conferences and spent six weeks on a clinical and academic exchange trip to Beijing. I have really enjoyed working in the Institute alongside scientists and clinicians from all over the world and have found everyone to be very supportive and friendly.
