Trosolwyg
Rwy'n Gydymaith Ymchwil yn y Ganolfan Ymchwil a Datblygu Gofal Cymdeithasol Plant (CASCADE), sydd ar hyn o bryd yn gweithio ar gymrodoriaeth a ariennir gan Ymchwil Iechyd a Gofal Cymru (HCRW). Mae'r ymchwil hon yn archwilio trawsnewidiadau ôl-16 a chyrchfannau pobl ifanc sydd â phrofiad o ofal yng Nghymru, sydd wedi cael eu cyfeirio allan o ysgol brif ffrwd ac sy'n mynychu uned cyfeirio disgyblion (PRU).
- Bydd y prosiect yn cynnwys gweithio gyda grŵp o bobl ifanc dros dair blynedd, er mwyn dysgu mwy am y cyrchfannau y maent yn symud i mewn iddynt a'u barn a'u profiadau o'r cyfnod pontio hwn. Bydd y rhan hon o'r prosiect yn defnyddio amrywiaeth o ddulliau creadigol ac ethnograffig.
- Byddaf hefyd yn cyfweld â gweithwyr proffesiynol perthnasol am eu rolau a'r prosesau sy'n gysylltiedig â chefnogi'r bobl ifanc hyn gyda'u trawsnewidiadau.
- Bydd gwaith pellach yn cael ei wneud o fewn ysgolion, am arferion gwahardd, yn benodol mewn perthynas â phobl ifanc â phrofiad o ofal.
- Yn ogystal, byddaf yn gweithio gyda thîm Banc Data Cysylltu Gwybodaeth Ddienw Diogel (SAIL) ym Mhrifysgol Abertawe i ddysgu mwy am y berthynas rhwng bod yn ddysgwyr UCD â phrofiad gofal yng Nghymru, a chyrchfannau yn y dyfodol.
Cyn y gymrodoriaeth hon, gweithiais ar nifer o brosiectau ymchwil pwysig yn CASCADE, gan gynnwys y Prosiect Lles ac Anghydraddoldebau Plant (CWIP), Treial Gweithwyr Cymdeithasol mewn Ysgolion (SWIS) a'r Prosiect Plant ac Addysg sy'n Derbyn Gofal (LACE).
Rwy'n weithiwr ieuenctid a chymunedol cymwys ac yn flaenorol roeddwn yn rheoli gorsaf radio cymunedol dan arweiniad ieuenctid. Mae fy niddordebau ymchwil yn cynnwys pobl ifanc, gwaith ieuenctid, addysg, cynhwysiant cymdeithasol, a rolau ac arferion gweithwyr proffesiynol ac oedolion allweddol eraill sy'n cefnogi pobl ifanc. Mae gen i brofiad o ddefnyddio ystod o ddulliau ymchwil ansoddol gan gynnwys dulliau ethnogrpahig a chyfranogol.
