Rwy'n Athro Gwyddor Penderfyniad ac yn dal y DSV Cadeirydd Logisteg a Gweithgynhyrchu. Rwy'n sylfaenydd a Chyfarwyddwr Sefydliad Gweithgynhyrchu, Logisteg a Rhestr y Brifysgol-Diwydiant PARC (sy'n cwmpasu RemakerSpace Prifysgol Caerdydd). Rwyf wedi sefydlu ac yn gofalu am bartneriaeth strategol y Brifysgol gyda DSV® ar hyn o bryd. Cyn ymuno â Chaerdydd, bûm yn gwasanaethu yng nghyfadrannau Prifysgol Salford (Canolfan Ymchwil Weithredol ac Ystadegau Cymhwysol), ac Ysgol Fusnes Copenhagen (Athro Otto Monsted, yr Adran Gweithrediadau).

Yng Nghaerdydd, rwy'n ymchwilio i ragolygon a rheoli ansicrwydd ar gyfer gwella penderfyniadau stocrestr, gweithgynhyrchu, logisteg a chadwyni cyflenwi. Rwyf wedi cael y clod am uno'r disgyblaethau (siloed gynt) o ragweld ac optimeiddio stocrestrau, ac rwy'n adnabyddus yn bennaf am Amcangyfrif Syntetos-Boylan, dull rhagweld safonol, a'r dull Syntetos-Boylan-Croston o ddosbarthu rhagolwg. Mae fy llyfr 2021 gyda John Boylan wedi'i grynhoi yn y fideo hwn.

Mae fy ngwaith yn adlewyrchu cydweithio â mwy na 40 o brifysgolion a chwmnïau ledled y byd, ac mae wedi cael ei gefnogi gan gronfeydd sy'n fwy na £5 Miliwn (bron pob un ohonynt rwyf wedi'u sicrhau fel Prif Ymchwilydd ac mae bron pob un ohonynt wedi'i ddyfarnu i'm Prifysgol gysylltiedig). Rwy'n gweithio ym maes Gwyddor Penderfyniadau, ac mae gen i ddiddordeb mewn datblygu rhestr eiddo a / neu fodelau busnes sy'n ddamcaniaethol drylwyr ond ymarferol hyfyw ac effeithiol a / neu ragweld algorithmau a modelau busnes.

Rwyf wedi gweithio, ac yn parhau i wneud hynny, ar ragolwg rhestr galw ysbeidiol. Mae'r gwaith hwn yn arbennig o berthnasol i gadwyni cyflenwi rhannau sbâr (ac ar ôl gwerthu).
