Mae fy ymchwil yn canolbwyntio ar ddatrys y mecanweithiau moleciwlaidd y tu ôl i gydnabyddiaeth gynhenid bacteria yn ogystal â pathogenau firaol. Am y pum mlynedd diwethaf, rwyf wedi bod ar secondiad yn GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) fel rhan o gydweithrediad unigryw-academia diwydiant o'r enw Rhaglen Sabothol Catalydd Imiwnoleg Elion a Du er mwyn perfformio ymchwil feddygol. Mae ein gwaith diweddaraf yn y diwydiant fferyllol wedi bod yn canolbwyntio ar ddatrys mecanweithiau imiwnedd cynhenid ar gyfer gwerth clinigol uniongyrchol - gan drosi darganfyddiadau i feddyginiaethau posibl.
