Trosolwyg
Ers mis Chwefror 2023, fi yw Arweinydd yr Uned Ymchwil Cyfrifiadura sy'n Canolbwyntio ar Bobl.
Ers 1 Awst 2021 rwy'n Uwch Ddarlithydd mewn Rhyngweithio Dynol-Cyfrifiadurol (HCI) ac Iechyd Digidol.
Ymunais â Chaerdydd ar 1 Tachwedd 2019 ac rwy'n rhan o'r Grŵp Ymchwil Systemau Cymhleth a'r Maes Blaenoriaeth Ymchwil Cyfrifiadura sy'n canolbwyntio ar Bobl yn yr Ysgol Cyfrifiadureg a Gwybodeg. Rwyf hefyd yn rhan o'n Canolfan newydd ar gyfer Systemau Deallusrwydd Artiffisial, Roboteg a Pheiriant Dynol (IROHMS). Ers mis Tachwedd 2020, rwyf wedi cael fy mhenodi'n Arweinydd Academaidd Themâu Trawsbynciol IROHMS (CCT) sy'n gyfrifol am y materion academaidd sy'n gysylltiedig â'r nodau datblygu cynaliadwy a'r heriau byd-eang.
Mae fy ymchwil ar groesffordd Rhyngweithio Dynol-Cyfrifiadurol (HCI), Gwaith Cydweithredol â Chymorth Cyfrifiadurol (CSCW ), a Chyfrifiadura Hollbresennol (UbiComp), gyda diddordeb arbennig yn y meysydd Gofal Iechyd a Chynaliadwyedd .
Mae gen i gefndir mewn Cyfrifiadura sy'n Canolbwyntio ar Bobl gydag arbenigedd mewn dylunio sy'n wybodus yn ethnig, dylunio sy'n canolbwyntio ar y defnyddiwr, dylunio cyfranogol, ac wrth ddylunio a gwerthuso systemau cymdeithasol-dechnegol. Mae fy ngwaith yn cyfuno gwaith maes ag ymagwedd ymchwil sy'n canolbwyntio ar ddylunio i ddeall arferion beunyddiol pobl ymhellach, anghenion rhanddeiliaid gwahanol, a sut mae pobl yn priodoli technoleg. Mae'r rhan fwyaf o'i ymchwil yn cyd-fynd â'r tro i ymarfer mewn Rhyngweithio Dynol-Cyfrifiadurol (HCI), lle mae'r ddealltwriaeth o arferion bob dydd yn chwarae rhan bwysig wrth ddylunio system.
Rwyf wedi gweithio mewn amrywiol brosiectau sy'n ymwneud â gofal iechyd: deall a dylunio i gefnogi arferion rheoli meddyginiaethau oedolion hŷn, gwerthuso arferion hunanfonitro ar gyfer menywod beichiog sydd â chyneclampsia ac oedolion hŷn, gan werthuso effaith technoleg symudol i gefnogi gweithwyr gwasanaethau ysbytai, ac ati. Mae gen i hefyd ddiddordebau penodol mewn cyfrifiadura corfforol, systemau ymwybyddiaeth amgylchynol a'r Rhyngrwyd Pethau.
Mae'r rhan fwyaf o'm prosiectau ymchwil yn cymryd ymagwedd amlddisgyblaethol. Er enghraifft, rydym wedi cynnal adolygiad naratif ynghyd â chydweithwyr trawsddisgyblaethol sy'n ymchwilio i sut mae menywod beichiog yn rhyngweithio â thechnolegau hunanfonitro ac yn eu defnyddio'n ymarferol, a sut maent yn llunio cyfarfyddiadau clinigol a gwneud penderfyniadau. Rwyf hefyd wedi arwain prosiect cwmpasu MRC-AHRC gyda nifer o randdeiliaid yn archwilio'r arferion cymdeithasol-ddiwylliannol sy'n dylanwadu ar ofal beichiogrwydd yn Ne India a'r rôl Gall technoleg chwarae i gefnogi gofal beichiogrwydd mewn lleoliadau adnoddau isel. Rwyf hefyd yn rhan o rwydwaith amlddisgyblaethol sy'n canolbwyntio ar ddigido atgenhedlu.
