Ymchwil
Mae fy niddordebau ymchwil yn rhyngddisgyblaethol, wedi'u llywio'n fras gan sosioieithyddiaeth feirniadol ac ieithyddiaeth gymhwysol, anthropoleg ieithyddol, astudiaethau diwylliannol, astudiaethau'r cyfryngau ac astudiaethau Tsieineaidd. Mae gen i ddiddordeb arbennig yn sosioieithyddiaeth globaleiddio, ac mae fy ngwaith ers 2014 wedi canolbwyntio ar ddeall defnydd iaith, gwneud hunaniaeth, cyfathrebu digidol a newidiadau cymdeithasol wrth globaleiddio China. Rwyf hefyd yn gwneud ymchwil mewn dysgu iaith ac addysg gyda ffocws ar Tsieinëeg Mandarin. Rwy'n croesawu ceisiadau PhD yn y meysydd hyn.
Addysgu
Rwyf wedi gwasanaethu fel Cyfarwyddwr Rhaglen Tsieinëeg ac yn addysgu ar ystod o fodiwlau ar BA Modern Tsieinëeg a BA Ieithoedd Modern. Rwyf hefyd wedi cyfrannu at addysgu a goruchwylio MA Astudiaethau Cyfieithu ac MA Diwylliannau Byd-eang.
Bywgraffiad
Mae gennyf BA mewn Saesneg (Hubei, Tsieina), MA mewn TESOL ac Ieithyddiaeth Gymhwysol (UCL, y DU) gyda rhagoriaeth, a PhD mewn Sosioieithyddiaeth (Tilburg, Yr Iseldiroedd). Yn ogystal, mae gen i TAR mewn iaith (UCL, y DU) a Diploma Ôl-raddedig mewn Addysgu Tsieinëeg fel Iaith Dramor (SOAS, y DU). Cyn ymuno â Chaerdydd, roeddwn mewn swyddi addysgu ac ymchwil ym Mhrifysgol Llundain (y DU), KU Leuven (Gwlad Belg), Prifysgol Tilburg a Phrifysgol Maastricht (Yr Iseldiroedd).
