Trosolwyg
Mae fy ymchwil yn canolbwyntio ar gynllunio, datblygu a llywodraethu dinasoedd, yn enwedig gwleidyddiaeth datblygu cymunedol, dylanwad arbenigedd y sector preifat, ac effaith technolegau digidol.
Mae fy mhrosiect ymchwil diweddaraf, Just Neighbourhoods?, yn archwilio cyfiawnder cymdeithasol ac amgylcheddol mewn cymdogaethau sydd heb gynrychiolaeth ddigonol ar draws pedair gwlad y DU. Mae prosiectau diweddar eraill wedi canolbwyntio ar effaith cynllunio dan arweiniad y gymuned ar adeiladu tai a chyfiawnder epistemig a thrawsnewid gofod stryd. Mae papurau diweddar yn cynnwys archwilio dylanwad hanesyddol arbenigedd y sector preifat mewn cynllunio trefol a llywodraethu (papur ar y rhestr fer, Planning Perspectives Prize 2024), a degawd o ddatblygu polisi cynllunio cymdogaeth yn Lloegr (papur canmoladwy, AESOP Best Published Paper Award 2024). Bydd casgliad golygedig newydd ar theori cynllunio yn cael ei gyhoeddi gan Routledge yn 2025.
Ar hyn o bryd rwy'n gwasanaethu fel Golygydd Adolygu Llyfrau ar gyfer Adolygiad Cynllunio Tref. Cysylltwch â ni os oes gennych lyfr sydd ar ddod yr hoffech ei ystyried i'w adolygu.
Ymunais â'r Ysgol Daearyddiaeth a Chynllunio ym mis Hydref 2021. Cyn hyn, cynhaliais Gymrodoriaeth Ôl-ddoethurol yr Academi Brydeinig ym Mhrifysgol Reading ac roeddwn yn Gymrawd Ymchwil yn Ysgol Gynllunio Bartlett, UCL. Cwblheais fy PhD ym Mhrifysgol Sheffield yn 2017 a ariannwyd gan yr ESRC. Rwy'n Gymrawd Advance HE (FHEA) ac yn Aelod Cyswllt o'r RTPI (AssocRTPI).
