Rwy'n Athro ac yn Ddirprwy Gyfarwyddwr Treialon Iechyd y Boblogaeth yn y Ganolfan Ymchwil Treialon a DECIPHer (Canolfan Datblygu, Gwerthuso, Cymhlethdod a Gweithredu mewn Gwella Iechyd y Cyhoedd) ym Mhrifysgol Caerdydd, ac mae gennyf gontract anrhydeddus ym Mhrifysgol Bryste. Ffocws fy ymchwil yw deall sut mae ffactorau cymdeithasol, seicolegol, biolegol, ymddygiadol a genetig o bob rhan o gwrs bywyd, yn dylanwadu ar ymddygiadau sy'n effeithio ar iechyd a chlefydau cronig o bwysigrwydd iechyd cyhoeddus mawr: clefyd cardiofasgwlaidd a salwch meddwl. Nod y corff ymchwil hwn yn y pen draw yw atal afiechydon.
