Rwy'n ymchwilydd gwaith cymdeithasol gweithgar gyda ffocws ar oruchwyliaeth, barn broffesiynol a gwneud penderfyniadau mewn gwaith cymdeithasol plant a theuluoedd.
Rwyf wedi arwain neu wedi cyfrannu at brosiectau ymchwil a ariennir yn allanol gwerth cyfanswm o £8 miliwn, gyda chefnogaeth cyllidwyr gan gynnwys Ymchwil Iechyd a Gofal Cymru, y Sefydliad Cenedlaethol ar gyfer Ymchwil Iechyd a Gofal (NIHR), Sefydliad Nuffield a Sefydliadau. Mae fy ymchwil wedi'i ariannu wedi cynnwys gwerthusiadau o gynadledda grŵp teuluol, astudiaethau o fodelau goruchwylio a'u perthynas ag ansawdd ymarfer, ac ymchwiliadau empirig i sut mae gweithwyr cymdeithasol yn gwneud barn o dan amodau ansicrwydd a risg. Ochr yn ochr â gwaith a ariennir, rwyf wedi ymgymryd ag ystod o astudiaethau heb eu hariannu ac archwiliadol, gan gynnwys ymyriadau treialu sydd wedi'u cynllunio i gefnogi barn broffesiynol a chymharu cywirdeb gwneud penderfyniadau ar draws gwahanol gyd-destunau proffesiynol a thechnolegol.

Rwy'n Gyfarwyddwr Rhaglen ar gyfer y rhaglen MA Gwaith Cymdeithasol ym Mhrifysgol Caerdydd, ac ar gyfer y rhaglenni MSc a PgDip Gwaith Cymdeithasol newydd sy'n dechrau ym mis Medi 2026. Ar draws y rhaglenni hyn, fy ffocws yw helpu myfyrwyr i ddatblygu ymarfer proffesiynol dynol, person-ganolog a chymesur, gyda phwyslais arbennig ar sgiliau cyfathrebu, barn a gwneud penderfyniadau mewn lleoliadau statudol cymhleth a risg uchel.
