Mae Erfan yn Ddarlithydd mewn Dulliau Dylunio Cyfrifiadurol mewn Pensaernïaeth, gan arwain y modiwl "Cyflwyniad i Fodelu 3D a Dylunio Parametrig." Mae hefyd yn cyd-arwain y modiwlau "Canfod Ffurflenni Cyfrifiadurol" a "Meddwl Dylunio Algorithmig," lle mae'n tywys myfyrwyr i gymhwyso strategaethau cyfrifiadurol i ddylunio pensaernïol a datrys problemau.
Ymchwil
Mae ei arbenigedd ymchwil yn gorwedd mewn saernïo digidol, dylunio algorithm-yrru, methodolegau dylunio arwahanol, a saernïo robotig. Mae'n gweithio ar ddulliau dylunio a chymhwyso offer digidol mewn dylunio pensaernïol, gan archwilio sut mae strategaethau cyfrifiadurol yn gwella prosesau creadigol a gwneud penderfyniadau dylunio. Mae ei waith hefyd yn canolbwyntio ar integreiddio dylunio a saernïo, datblygu llifoedd gwaith sy'n pontio dylunio cyfrifiadurol gyda thechnegau saernïo uwch. Fel aelod o'r Grŵp Ymchwil Dulliau Cyfrifiadurol mewn Pensaernïaeth, mae'n ymchwilio i ddulliau arloesol o gysylltu dylunio cyfrifiadurol, saernïo digidol, a chydosod robotig mewn pensaernïaeth.

Mae gan Erfan PhD mewn Pensaernïaeth Ddigidol o Brifysgol Robert Gordon, y DU, gan ganolbwyntio ar systemau dylunio arwahanol ar gyfer integreiddio â chydosod robotig. Cwblhaodd hefyd MSc mewn Dylunio Pensaernïol Arloesi yn yr un sefydliad.
Gyda dros wyth mlynedd o brofiad fel pensaer a dylunydd, mae gwaith Erfan yn cysylltu ymchwil academaidd ac ymarfer proffesiynol, gan archwilio integreiddio dylunio cyfrifiadurol, offer digidol, a dulliau saernïo craff mewn pensaernïaeth. Nod ei waith yw hyrwyddo dulliau sy'n cael eu gyrru gan dechnoleg sy'n gwella creadigrwydd dylunio ac effeithlonrwydd gwneuthuriad.
