Overview
I am a Clinical Psychologist and Senior Academic / Therapies Tutor on the South Wales Doctoral Course in Clinical Psychology. My roles include leading on Equity, Diversity & Inclusion across the programme, curriculum development, supporting trainees, delivering teaching and supervising doctoral theses.
I have worked as a Clinical Psychologist in the NHS since 2010, mainly with children, young people and families. I have particular interest in attachment and trauma, and the social determinants of mental health, including the impact of adverse childhood experiences, adverse community environments, discrimination and marginalisation. In recent years I have focussed on delivering supervision, training and consultation to multi-professional groups who work with children and families in the community.
