Overview
Mustafa is currently a PhD student at Cardiff Business School. He has a strong passion for leveraging probabilistic statistical and machine learning models, along with optimization techniques, to enhance discharge care coordination in healthcare and social care.
Research
- Probabilistic readmission risk associated with each discharge pathways
- Probabilistic hybrid AI to understand and forecast patient’s length of stay (LOS) and pathway discharge
- Modelling and estimating patient’s social participation in the wider community post-discharge
- Forecasting social care workload
