Overview

I am immensely curious about understanding the fascinating and critical intersection of affordable housing and energy efficiency. I advocate for the provision and construction of energy-efficient, affordable housing. My research sets out to contribute to addressing the challenges of housing affordability and sustainability. With these two sets of competencies, I hope to integrate housing economics with design, planning, and construction. Such seamless integration would guarantee the provision of sustainable, energy-efficient, and affordable housing that is suitable for people and the environment.
This comparative study is driven by a passion to comprehend how different contexts approach the dual challenges of providing accessible, quality, affordable housing while simultaneously addressing crucial sustainability and environmental performance targets. By examining policies, practices, and outcomes in two distinct socio-economic landscapes, I aim to uncover valuable insights into effective strategies and potential pitfalls. My goal is to contribute meaningful knowledge that can inform more sustainable, equitable, and energy-efficient housing solutions globally.
