Overview
I am a first-year PhD student in the Data Lab for Social Good Research Group at Cardiff University. My research focuses on reducing inequalities in NHS screening participation in Wales. I am particularly interested in understanding how screening inequalities vary across different population groups and geographic areas, and how data-driven methods can support fairer and more effective healthcare decision-making.
My broader research interests include machine learning, forecasting, responsible AI, and data-driven decision support. I have a background in Computer Science, with previous research experience in deep learning, cross-domain facial expression recognition, graph-based learning, and clustering.
My long-term research interest is in applying AI and analytical methods to socially important problems, particularly in healthcare and public-sector decision-making.
