Thesis

Spaces for Physical Activity: Using Computation to predict the Suitabiloity of Urban Open Space for Physical Activity.

Benjamin’s research examines the relationship between the built environment and health, with a focus on how urban open spaces can better serve communities as destinations for engaging in diverse types of physical activity. Using computational methods, his study identifies optimal locations for open spaces that are both convenient and accessible. His approach integrates multiple analyses of existing physical environmental factors to inform design and planning decisions
