Overview

I am a PhD researcher in Architecture at the Welsh School of Architecture, Cardiff University. My research explores how women experience and use public spaces in villages in the city. I am particularly interested in everyday spatial practices, social inclusion and gender-sensitive design.

My work looks at the relationship between gender, space and everyday life, with a focus on informal urban environments. Drawing on feminist urbanism and informal urbanism, I aim to better understand how public spaces are experienced and adapted by female residents.

Ultimately, I hope my research can contribute to more inclusive and care-oriented approaches to public space design.
