Biography

I joined Cardiff University in 2011 as a part-time evening and weekends Library Assistant in the University Library Service. My career progressed quickly and I became a full-time Senior Library Assistant/IT Support Assistant and I predominantly worked in one of the biggest sites on Cathays Campus – the Arts and Social Studies Library for 8 years. I also became a qualified librarian – I received my MA degree in Library and Information Services Management by distance learning at the University of Sheffield.

My experience, studies as well as interest in digital literacy and the IT side of service delivery within information services helped me get my current role as a Learning Technologist.
