Teams and roles for Judit Csontos
Research Associate
Overview
I am a research associate and Co-Deputy Director of the Wales Centre For Evidence Based Care, a JBI Centre of Excellence (https://www.cardiff.ac.uk/research/explore/research-units/wales-centre-for-evidence-based-care). As part of my work, I contribute to the production of high quality evidence syntheses (systematic, scoping, umbrella and rapid reviews) which aim to answer priority questions for policy and practice in Wales and beyond.
My other research interests lie in rehabilitation and physical activity. Prior to joining the Wales Centre For Evidence Based Care, I have worked on projects focusing on supportive care interventions for people affected by cancer, including cancer rehabilitation. I have completed my PhD thesis at Cardiff University, which investigated how two cancer rehabilitation services work in South Wales.
I am also a trained and registered physiotherapist (HCPC), having completed my BSc at University of Szeged, in Hungary and my MSc at Cardiff University.
