Overview
I am a researcher at the Wolfson Centre for Young People’s Mental Health and the Centre for Neuropsychiatric Genetics and Genomics. My interests focus on neurodevelopmental conditions, genetics, and psychosis, with particular emphasis on developmental pathways into severe mental illness and the transition from youth mental health difficulties to adult psychiatric conditions. My current research focuses on depression and anxiety in young people, drawing on genomic data to characterise risk and heterogeneity during key developmental periods. This work aims to identify opportunities for clinical translation of genetic findings, including evaluating how genomic data might be used to support risk stratification and personalised care in mental health settings.
