Overview

Jessica is the Project Officer within the CPD Unit.

Her role includes the project management of international CPD programmes including the Cardiff University China Scholarship Council University Management and Innovation Programme and more recently, the Innovative Teaching Practice Programme.

Jessica has supported various other projects across the university including the CPD working group and Virtual CPD Summer School.

Biography

I joined the CPD unit having spent five years working for various education/training focused charitable organisations. At Into Film, I worked to coordinate the delivery of face to face CPD to approximately 14,000 teachers and youth workers a year. I played a supporting role in the development of two successful MOOCs focused on raising literacy attainment through film and filmmaking and animation in the classroom. Prior to that, at Show Racism the Red Card Wales, I assisted in the development of the organisation’s first corporate Equality and Diversity training workshops, which were subsequently delivered to a number of public sector organisations.
