Overview

I am a quantitative researcher based at WISERD at Cardiff University, working with Administrative Data Research Wales. My current research focuses on skills and employment, with a particular emphasis on administrative data linkage and analysis.

I completed my PhD in Sociology at the University of Oxford in 2023. My doctoral research used cross-national survey data combined with country-level indicators to examine how wage inequality is shaped by institutional contexts, particularly labour market dualization and collective bargaining institutions.

Since then, I have worked extensively with administrative data within the SAIL Databank to investigate trajectories of disadvantage. My research has examined topics such as ethnic and religious inequalities in children’s social care and severe and multiple disadvantage among young people, linking Census, education, health, and social care data.
