Biography
I was among the first generation of Learning Technologists in Cardiff University, and have experienced the evolution of the profession over the years. My first position was in the Dermatology department, where I was instrumental in the development of some innovative distance learning courses and projects including online histopathology teaching and live streaming of Dermatology surgery. I later moved to the central Learning Technology team in the Medical School where I continued to provide support and training. Most recently, I have been working as Digital Education School Partner for the Dental School and Ultra Partner for the School of Optometry.
In a previous life I have played the viola in the orchestra of Welsh National Opera and the European Union Youth Orchestra.
