Research:
I am in the writing-up period for PhD research titled "Developing Computerised Tools Supporting Assessment and Feedback on Assessments" which considers Automated Assessment Tools (AATs) for novice programmers in the Higher Education Computer Science setting.
This research contributed to the publication "Automated Assessment Tools: Feedback to and from Students", awarded 2nd place at SIGCSE TS 2026 Graduate Student Research Competition.
The research has led to the development of an Adapted Assessment and Feedback Lifecycle workflow and the AAT FAFFE (Formative Assessment and Feedback For Everyone), available via the Cardiff University instance of OpenShift.
Please feel free to contact me via email for further details ([email protected]).
The thesis for "Developing Computerised Tools Supporting Assessment and Feedback on Assessments" is being prepared for submission.
