Overview

An experienced knowledge exchange professional, working with external stakeholders and academic colleagues for positive change and impact through collaboration, research and co-production, supporting successful inter-disciplinary innovation and place-based projects with partners.

Formerly Programme Manager of the Cardiff Capital Region Challenge Fund, supporting public services to work with innovative companies to co-produce and adopt innovative solutions to societal issues. Previously, Programme Manager of the SETsquared Scale-Up Programme, supporting businesses to engage with researchers across six universities and develop RD&I collaborations.

Biography

A collegiate leader and convener of strategic partnerships and collaboration across complex multi-stakeholder programmes, working at the intersection of public sector, academia and business to identify opportunities and co-produce solutions with positive impact.

 

An experienced manager in higher education with strong record of supporting academics and engaging senior leaders, exploring customer needs to build successful bids to secure income, and supporting colleagues' development.

 

Originally joining HE from industry, I have worked successfully in business engagement and knowledge exchange roles, utilising my skills to manage programmes, including responsibility for budgets, strategic planning, governance, and communication.
