I am a Lecturer in Adult Nursing in the School of Healthcare Sciences at Cardiff University and SFHEA. I am a Registered General Nurse with a clinical backround in Medicine, Haemotology and Community Nursing (including fast response services and specialist IV Therapy Nurse Services). I teach on the Undergraduate Adult Nursing and Return to Practice Programmes. My special interest is professionalism, reflective practice, leadership, primary care, evidence -based practice and clinical skills.

I joined Cardiff University in 2015 following 27 years in clinical practice, where I have had a variety of roles which included a clinical skills Tutor and a Lecturer (Welsh) supporting Allied Health Professionals. I am currently a module lead, Programme Manager (Return to Nursing Practice) and was Academic Misconduct Coordinator for 3 years.
