Overview
I am a trial manager/research associate at the Research Trials Centre. I have clinical trial experience in a wide range of disciplines. I am currently managing the Sono-breech study - evaluating the use of hand-held ultrasound devices to detect breech pregnancies; the Solutions trial - evaluating a solution focused therapy to children and young people presenting at a police custody suite; Stand Together - evaluating an anti-bullying programme called KiVa in schools; TAPERS trial - Treating Anxiety to PrevEnt Reslapse in pSychosis: a feasibility trial, funded by Research for Patient and Public Benefit (RfPPB) Wales; and the TTTS study - ultrasound-guided high intensity focusing ultrasound for the treatment of early pregnancy Twin-Twin Transfusion Syndrome funded by the MRC.
Previous trials I have managed include the following: PRINCESS trial - Probiotics to Reduce Infections iN CarE home reSidentS funded by NIHR EME; Building Blocks - Evaluating the Family Nurse Partnership program at Englnd; CREAM - Children with eczema, stuttering; A randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study of RAD001 (Everolimus) in the treatment of neurocognitive problems in tubular sclerosis.
