I work as a Project Officer at the Learning and Teaching Academy. I currently coordinate the University's external Quality Enhancement Review (QER) which takes place in 2026.

QER is the method by which the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) review Welsh higher education providers as part of the Quality Assessment Framework for Wales It provides a distinctive approach to institutional review, developed to address the particular context of the Welsh higher education sector. It provides quality assurance and supports quality enhancement, assuring governing bodies, students and the wider public that providers meet the requirements of Medr, The Commission for Tertiary Education and Research. QER assesses providers against agreed baseline regulatory requirements and the European Standards and Guidelines.

Biography

I coordinate the University's external Quality Enhancement Review (QER) which takes place in 2026.

I joined Cardiff University as an Events and Communications Officer in January 2024, working within the Internal Communications Team. In this role, I led on the Learning and Teaching Academy’s communications, coordinated staff communications related to the Welsh-language, and supported communication of change projects including Flexible Lifelong Learning and the Cynllun Cynefin Plan.

I studied at the University of St Andrews in Scotland between 2015 and 2019, graduating with an MA (Honours) degree in Social Anthropology. After graduating, I spent four years working as a Creative and Communications Executive for Literature Wales, the national company for the development of literature, where I managed projects including Bardd Plant Cymru and Wales Book of the Year.
