Overview
I am a Research Assistant in the School of Medicine with a background in social sciences. My research interests include understanding and improving patient experience in healthcare settings, and understanding how to improve healthcare systems at a wider level.
I am a qualitative researcher working within PRIME Centre Wales. I am currently involved in:
- evaluating the implementation of the 'Daffodil Standards' for end of life care in General Practice
- exploring the effect of ambulance queuing and delayed patient handovers in EDs
- understanding patient safety concerns and patients' perspecties/ experiences of raising concerns
