Teams and roles for Thomas Prosser

Overview

Professor Thomas Prosser has over fifteen years of research experience, publishing three monographs and multiple journal articles. He is a political economist who favours institutionalist perspectives and uses qualitative and quantitative methods. Earlier in his career, he investigated European social dialogue, European employment and social policy and European integration through the lens of institutional theory. His first monograph, European Labour Movements in Crisis, was one of the products of this agenda.

In recent years, he has become interested in the relationship between the political economy and ideology and made greater use of quantitative methods. His third monograph, Beyond Woke and Anti-Woke, explains the rise of social justice ideology through theories of political economy, employment relations and organizational behaviour and uses datasets such as the British Election Study (BES) and American National Election Study (ANES).
